Everything you need to know about getting your dream pool

How much does a pool cost?
The cost of a pool is determined by factors such as pool size, ground type, site access, and optional features like separate spas, heating, or water features. Aquify's range of pools are typically priced between $45k-$65k. This price generally includes excavation of your site, assistance with planning and approvals, craning of your pool, concreting for the pool coping, and installation of all plumbing and equipment to run the pool. For every dollar you spend on having a swimming pool installed, you should see $2-$3 in added property value at the point of sale or valuation.
How long does the process take?
The first step is an onsite consultation with one of our consultants who will discuss your pool project, site requirements and develop a proposal. Once you're ready to proceed, we get plans drawn and approvals in place (we assist you with this too). Your installation date is then set and the pool site is excavated, your pool is craned in, and the plumbing and concreting around the pool is completed. Our Service Manager then guides you through owning and maintaining your pool with a one-on-one handover demonstration. This entire process takes approximately 1-3 months total. From there, it's the finishing touches like fencing, paving and landscaping.
Is a fibreglass or concrete pool better for me?
Fibreglass pools offer several advantages: they have a smooth, non-porous surface that's easier to clean and requires fewer chemicals, making them less expensive to maintain. Installation is much faster (1-2 weeks vs 3-6 months for concrete), meaning less disruption to your yard and family. The smooth surface prevents cuts and scratches, especially important for families with kids. While concrete pools can be made to any custom shape, fibreglass pools come in a wide range of amazing pre-designed shapes with the advantage of seeing completed images of the exact pool you're considering. Fibreglass pools also include our Pool ColourGuard® technology with a Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee.
Do you provide finance options?
Yes, we are partnered with Handypay who offer our customers flexible payment options which means you're able to plan your pool project now and pay later. When we provide a proposal it will display what the weekly payment would be if you choose to use finance. You can find out if you are eligible for finance with Handypay in just a few minutes (it's obligation free too!).
What if my yard is sloping or has narrow access?
We pride ourselves on being the tricky site experts! A fibreglass pool can be installed on pretty much any type of site including sloping yards. We have many solutions available including retaining walls, site cuts, or moving soil around. For narrow or restricted access - even if you only have enough room to walk down the side of your home, or can only access your backyard through your home - we can install a pool for you. Options include various types of cranes, micro diggers, hand digs, and we've even done helicopter and barge installations! If you want a pool, we'll find a way to make it happen.
